In 2006, U.S. Veteran and lifetime artist, Micah apprenticed under Dave "Doc"
Kryter, at "Doc's customs" in Lakewood WA, just south of Seattle. Doc is a wise,
old school, tattoo artist with 40+ years experience. He taught Micah the basics
of tattooing and instilled the mental drive needed to succeed.
Micah has achieved his certificate in Body Art from the American Tattooing
Institute, annual Blood Borne pathogen training, as well as knowledge in
birthmarks, scars, cover ups, black and grey techniques, illustrated color
portraits, after care procedures and multiple ideas on how to “pimp out” your
old tattoo. Micah now specializes in American and Asian style tattooing, and
displays amazing color use as well as incredible black and gray talent.
Micah is an outstanding new comer to the world of tattooing and as a creative
custom artist, he produces many of his own original designs for tattoos and a
variety of other artistic outlets.
